Well finally i started having some fun up here. Here is a list of some places i have seen this weekend.....
1. White Mountains ( Part of the Appalachian Chain)-
2. The Basin - it is like a perfectly shaped hole, with all kinds of water falls its sweet.-  ( I was there i stood at that very spot.)
Echo Lake - 
Indian Head Mtn. -  I couldnt find a good picture of this one. When i get some made from our camera ill show them.
Old Man on the Mountain -  Now as you can see, it is un canny how well that looks like an actual head. This pic was taken a lil while back bc, the rain eroded at the chin, where the center of gravity was and most of his face fell of. The only thing holding that up for centuries was right where the chin was attached to the rest.
Swift River -  One of the ting syou have to see for yourself.
Clark's Trading Post -      ( I saw that man twice. He's the HEad bear trainer (( American Blackbears )). THat dude up there is the Wolfman. he chases you when u take a 2 mile train ride. If u want him to go away you squint ur left eye, point ur right index finger and say " SCRAM U OLE GOAT!!!!!) Its a great thing for kids lol.
Black Flies - ever heard of them? Not me...that got me good, imagine this --- on your head from one ear to the other, just on the sides, not the top. 25 times mom counted, ive had a bit of head ache for 2 days now. They ve gone down a lil bit. Then i went fishing today and got attacked my skeeters. I think the bugs are worse up here than down there. Seriously!
Where we stayed Friday and Sat. Night -  . I site was right on the banks of / insert long injune name here/ it ws cool. It rained at least once each day we was there. It was all cool tho. The first night we were there, they have a dumpster at the gate.....well a HUGE black bear was in it eating and ppl kept shining lights at it. it was awesome. i had never seen a bear before. The ppl i camped with were mom, ken, Alicia, Jerimiah, and Josh. Alicia is in college learning for a R.N. job with kids, she is very nice. Josh is 13 ( dont look it tho really small) he is like a lil comedian. He is awesome. So i like Ken's kids theyre very nic and not snobby. Oh i forgot the 4 yr old .....she is Russian wierd name dont remember. But she is really sweet, she liked me. Everything is real nice up here.
I was thinking one night when i was sitting on a rock in the middle of a small stream...........Im in N.H., but i live in Ark.......then i thought about the distance.....its a long way, but it didnt seem tht far bc it felt like i could hop in the truck and take off to home......this place is like a home from home simply bc of the nature and forestry rivers, it is so pretty up here.
i enjoyed my self this weekend..... GO ARMY!

There are many mor erivers and and stuff that i saw but i cant remember the names. They are MAJOR LONG indian names. |
